Majene, Sulbarita.com-Regent of Majene Fahmi Massiara urged village heads in his area to improve their innovation in work. This is expected to be a solution to the lack of village funds disbursed by the central government. But Fahmi admitted that he had only seen a few villages trying to innovate,
"From dozens of villages in Majene, only 2-3 villages have tried to innovate," Fahmi said when opening the 2018 Village Innovation Exchange, in Boyang Assamalewuang, Majene, Monday, November 26 2018 as reported by humas.majenekab.go.id.
From the records of the Majene District Government, there are 82 villages in 8 Subdistricts spread in Majene, Banggae Subdistrict as many as 8 villages, Banggae Timur District 9 villages, Pamboang District 15 villages, Sendana District 16 villages, then the rest are spread in Tubo Sendana District, Malunda District, Ulumanda District, and Tammerodo Sendana District.
But Fahmi did not mention the village in question. Fahmi only emphasized that nothing could be maximized from village funds which was quite minimal. Therefore, said Fahmi, the village head is obliged to innovate. "What if village funds are eliminated? "He said.
Referring to the Palipi village head who was dragged into the case
Fahmi also appealed to the village to pay attention to the legal consequences of each policy. Don't let, said Fahmi, innovations that are born hit the rules of the law.
Fahmi also mentioned the steps of the Head of Palipi Village Sudirman who became a suspect because of his policies. Fahmi assessed that the village head did not weigh the legal consequences of the policy. "The village head is concerned to maximize business opportunities in his area, but he is not keen to see areas that are appropriate and do not have legal consequences in the future," he said.
Sudirman cleared a 130-meter-long, 25-meter-long mangrove forest in his area to build crab cultivation ponds. As a result, Sudirman was named a suspect by the Majene Police Criminal Investigation Unit (Satreskrim) on 22 November. He was wracked by Law No. 32 of 2009 concerning protection and management of the environment.
Optimize the Village Innovation Exchange
The Head of the Village Community Empowerment Service (PMD), Majene Regency Andi Amriana Chaerani said the Ministry of Disadvantaged Villages had issued a program called the Village Innovation Exchange. This program is in the form of activities initiated by the government to show the innovation of each village in one activity.
Amriani hopes that from the Village Innovation Exchange, every village can see and learn about innovations in other villages. So that they are provoked to make better innovations, "So as to bridge the needs of the village government for a solution to problem solving," he said.
