Polman, Sulbarkita.com -- Ahead of the General Election (Election) at the same time next April 17, the General Election Supervisory Board (Bawaslu) of Polewali Mandar Regency warned people to be vigilant about the practice of money politics carried out by the fake Success Team.
The Head of the Violation and Enforcement Division, Polman Bawaslu, Arhamsyah said, based on legislation, all campaign teams when actively campaigning must be clear and have been registered in the General Election Commission (KPU).
"So far there are still volunteers outside the management structure, we hope that the volunteers should be registered with the KPU," he said when confirmed via telephone, Thursday, February 28, 2019.
According to Arhamsyah, detecting fake campaign teams is not difficult. Because the success team must be able to show a certificate from the KPU. "So, the name must be registered. If a winning team is not registered, then that is clearly out of the rules. Legislative candidates (candidates) must also provide understanding, "he said.
Furthermore, Arhamsyah appealed to Political Parties (Political Parties) to comply with KPU rules. This is because the campaign team is not from the legislative candidates, but comes from their political parties. "If we look at today's conditions, it is precisely the success team per candidate. And there are some teams that are not registered with the KPU, "he said.
In addition, Arhamsyah reminded sanctions if there were proven candidates to practice money politics. The threat of sanctions is name deletion or disqualification. "If the candidate is elected, he will not be chosen as elected," he said.
He also hopes that the people who find individual candidates will practice money politics to immediately report to the Bawaslu office. "Both the giver and the recipient are both caught up in the penalty of election crime if they practice money politics. If there are individuals who still use such methods, immediately report it," Arhamsyah said.
Confirmed separately, one of the candidates for the Polman Regional Representative Council (DPRD), Saiyed Agil, confirmed the existence of a fake success team mafia that used the momentum of the election in a manner that promised irrational votes. "The mode is to use the community or family group, then promises a voice to candidates to get money," he said via telephone.
