Majene, Sulbarkita.com -- The Regional Representative Council (DPRD) Majene will summon the Director of the Majene Regional General Hospital Dr. Yupie on Tuesday, January 28, 2020. The summons was related to the death of a patient because it was allegedly late handled by Majene Regional Hospital.
"We want to hear their statements with certainty. This should be a serious concern so that it does not recur," said Deputy Speaker of the Majene Regional Legislative Assembly, Adi Ahsan when contacted via telephone on Monday night, January 27, 2020.
Almaidah, 15 years old, a resident of North Somba, Sendana District, Majene died after being referred to Majene Regional Hospital on Friday, January 24, 2020. Previously, Almaidah was treated at the Sendana Health Center with an initial diagnosis of malnutrition.
Quoted from the media Maselembo.com, volunteers who seek treatment Almaidah said the hospital was too late to accommodate referrals submitted from the health center. But the Director of Majene Regional Hospital, Dr. Yupie denied this.
Adi Ahsan deplores the rebuttal that was raised by Dr. Yupie "In any case, there must be a defense for subjectivity. We can trust him based on his expertise but as someone who defends himself must be questioned," said the Golkar politician.
Adi Ahsan added that a number of senior Majene officials whose duties related to the performance of the Regional Hospital were also called. Among them were the Head of the Health Service, BPJS and 12 Puskesmas in Majene.
