Tubo Village Officials Examined Alleged Corruption of Ship Procurement
Procurement of fishing vessels in Tubo Village in 2016-2017 valued at Rp 170 million. The project budget comes from the local village fund. However, this project was reported by a number of residents because it was allegedly corrupted.
Field monitoring at Kejari Majene produced a surprising finding on Wednesday, February 19, 2020. The condition of the ship, which was only two years old, had become a pile of chopped wood. Even some parts of the ship's hull are used as the floor of the house by residents.
From these findings, Ikhsan suspected that there was an effort by certain parties to eliminate evidence. "The information is that the ship has only been held for two years but it has been broken into pieces, meaning that there is a suspicion of removing evidence.

He also stressed the status of witnesses to a number of people who would be called does not mean this case went up to investigation. Even though what is meant by a witness according to Article 1 number 26 of the Criminal Procedure Code (KUHAP) is a person who is questioned for the purposes of investigation. "It's still an investigation," he said.
It's just, Ikhsan said there were initial suspicions. "The initial suspicion is that there is work that is not done and does not meet specifications," he said.
Ex Head of Tubo Ready to Attend Examination

When asked about the case response, he stressed that the procurement of fishing vessels was in accordance with the plan. "I do not know what is the problem anyway, meaning that it has been well received by the recipient, the problem of the journey we want to continue to follow," he said.
He also commented on the existence of aid ships now in Mamuju. He argued that the ship could not return to Tubo because it had been damaged. "The ship cannot be brought back to Tubo Village because it will sink," he concluded.
