Polman, Sulbarkita.com -- A total of 70 Village Heads (Kades) in Polman Regency attended a comparative study to Ponggok Village, Polan Harjo District, Klaten Regency, Central Java Province. The activity is planned to take place for 5 days starting Monday, October 7 to Friday, October 11, 2019.
This program is a pattern of fostering the Village Empowerment and Governance Office (DPMPD), Polman to increase the income of the management of Village-Owned Enterprises (Bumdes).
The head of the DPMD, Polman, Azwar Jasin Sauru said the study tour carried out was accompanied by experts in five fields of capacity building programs for village officials.
"The five fields are Infrastructure, appropriate technology, Bumdes, participatory planning and village planning," Azwar said in a coordination meeting (Rakor) for village development program planning, in the Banyu Panguripan building, Ponggok Village office, Tuesday, October 8, 2019.
Ponggok Village is not only able to present superior underwater tourism, but also good public service administration in its village office. "Hopefully this comparative study can be taken the positive side, because the administration of Ponggok Village is extraordinary in terms of structuring," he said.
Azwar also mentioned the management of Bumdes in Ponggok which he said was extraordinary. Therefore, he said, the results of discussions with the Village Heads will be output to be applied in Polman.
"So that the hope of the regent who launches one village of innovation can be launched on the birthday of Polman in December, if there is a village we are unable to sanction," Azwar said.
Director of Bongdes Ponggok, Joko Winarno during the coordination meeting activities said, the average income from Bumdes Ponggok reached Rp. 7.6 Billion per year collected from nine business units, including, village shops, home stays, car rentals, Umbul Ponggok water tours, kiosks, fisheries and clean water management.
Of the total net income of Bumdes Ponggok, 70 percent comes from the Umbul Ponggok underwater tourism sector. "If the number of Ponggok pennant visitors is 30 thousand in a year, then almost 500 million a month income from Umbul Ponggok alone," said Joko Winarno.
The management of Bongdes Ponggok began in 2009, but began to be neatly organized in 2011. "The net profit we get from Bumdes is 40 percent of total revenue," said Joko Winarno.
Head of Ponggok Village, Junaedi hoped that the village heads of study tour participants had dreams and dreams, but they should not only be in their heads. "But how to make that dream become the direction of planning. "We did not overtake destiny, but we analyzed, how to analyze from the data base we have," he said.
Deputy Regent of Polman, HM. Natsir Rahmat appreciated the DPMPD program which was able to motivate the village head so that they could again explore the potential of the village. "We are sure that the Kades' minds can be open to all, at least they are able to plant discipline into the office on time. So I hope they can imitate Ponggok Village to develop what is suitable in their respective villages," he said.
