Mamuju, Sulbarkita.com - The charity concert held by Dangdut Indonesia Ambassador Cici Gunarsih and a number of singers in Mamuju on Saturday, March 7, 2018, managed to raise funds up to Rp 15 million for the victims of Mamuju flood. "It will be handed over directly to the victims of the flood," said Chairman of the Board of Concert Ashari Rauf to Sulbarkita.com, April 8, 2018.
According to Ashari, the concert organizers will coordinate with local government, TNI and Police in determining the beneficiaries. The goal is that aid really touches the flood victims. "The funds will be disbursed after all coordination is completed," he said.
Muhammad Syahrir, Cici's Friends Management Coordinator, expressed his gratitude for the incoming contribution. He promised to deliver donations in a transparent manner. "This concert is a form of concern for the victims," he said.
The concert that took place at Mamuju Traditional House collected donations through ticket sales of Rp 10 thousand per person. The concert managed to suck the attention of Mamuju residents because it was attended by Cici LIDA and other singers such as Fadlan Arif (Rising Star), Pasha (KDI), and Kia Safaruddin.
Cici LIDA who started the concert with the song Assalamu Alayka from Maher Zain was greeted hysterically by the audience. Moreover, the University of Tomakaka students went on stage and went around to greet the audience.
In an interview with Sulbarkita.com, Cici LIDA expressed its concern for the victims of the Mamuju flood. According to him, flood disaster is a form of reprimand from the creator.
