Just imagine if our home is located only about one kilometer from a natural pool that has two beautiful waterfalls. Surely we will be tempted to spend time there. That was what residents felt in Sendana Village, Somba District, Majene Regency, West Sulawesi. There, there are two waterfalls that are equally beautiful.
One is legendary because of the kece and majestic named Malle 'Malotong, the other famous because it is located near residential areas. It's called the Uwai Meaturang waterfall. The nice thing is that access to the place from the nearest resident's house is quite "safe". In the sense that there aren't many steep climbs that make our feet tired.
We will pass through people's gardens, forests in the hills. Although it is enough to make breathless, our eyes will be comforted by the trees in the narrow and circular forest road. About twenty minutes on foot, the waterfalls and natural pools were finally seen.
Uwai Meaturang waterfall is a kind of cool hiding place, because its location is covered by lush trees. When it is dry or transition season, the water in the pond is not full. Therefore large stones that "settle" there, dry and safe, are the footing.

But somehow, the Uwai Meaturang waterfall which has two "showers" still makes the kit happy. If you don't believe it, just try to put your body under one of the showers. Guaranteed, the head seems to be lighter after watering. This is a kind of natural reflexology, with the added effect of splashing fresh water.
The fun, Uwai Meaturang waterfall is very quiet, and this makes us like being in a private boarding area. Not just free to bathe as long as possible, monopolizing fountains for natural reflection can also be done. When else can you enjoy a private waterfall without having to take turns with others?
