Majene, Sulbarkita.com - Majene Regency, West Sulawesi, may be proud. Because two students from this area left for China to take part in the "Visit to China Study Tour" on June 15-21 2019. Both were students of the Faculty of Engineering, University of West Sulawesi (Unsulbar), Sudarmin and Nurul Fitriani.
The event was initiated by the Indonesian Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education (Kemenristekdikti) in collaboration with the Embassy of the People's Republic of China for the Republic of Indonesia. The participants were 50 students from 15 campuses in Indonesia. They were chosen to strengthen diplomatic relations between Indonesia and China, and to recognize the culture of the Bamboo Curtain country.
Sudarmin escaped after passing the campus internal selection. Such as file, essay and English language selection. According to Sudarmin, this program will open a new perspective on the problem. "That China is not only large in terms of population, but also economics and technology," Sudirman said as reported by Unsulbarnews.com, Sunday, June 23, 2019.
Meanwhile Nurul said, the program increased his insight as an Informatics Engineering student, especially in the field of technology. Moreover, there are many new and sophisticated technologies on display in China.
Like when he and his entourage visited the Chinese National Library in Beijing City. There is a large enough screen that displays all information about China and displays a geographic map of the country. "Only by playing the screen, we can easily find out information in detail," he said.
