Saying goodbye to the toilet, Underage Girls are tilled by Neighbors

Mamuju, Sulbarkita.com - City Police Resort (Polresta) Mamuju arrested AH, a 19-year-old man, in Beru-beru Village, Kalukku District, Mamuju. AH was arrested after it was reported that he had sexually abused an underage girl with the initials DS, 14 years old.

Head of North Sumatra Police Public Relations AKBP Syamsu Ridwan said the incident began when DS said goodbye to the toilet behind his house. But DS never returned to the house so that made her look for him.

"But upon arrival at the back of the house, the victim's mother saw a flashlight carried by the victim lying on the ground with the condition still burning," Syamsu said in a press release in the Tribrata of the West Sulawesi Regional Police, Sunday, July 26, 2020.

These conditions could make the mother panic and continue to search. Not far from the toilet, he then saw his child along with AH. "The victim's mother saw AH with the DS victim lying on the ground in a state not wearing clothes. The perpetrator then ran away," he said.

The victim's mother reported the incident to the Mamuju Mapolres Protection Unit for Women and Children (PPA). AH who is a neighbor of the victim's village was immediately force-fed by officers.

Syamsu Ridwan said that when he was interrogated, the perpetrator said he had the courage to commit such immoral acts because he had been dating the victim for 4 months. "He also claimed to have carried out similar actions to victims 3 times in different places."

AH actions can be threatened with Article 76 letter E of Law Number 35 Year 2014 concerning the protection of children with the threat of a maximum prison sentence of 5 (five) years and a maximum of 15 (fifteen) years and a maximum fine of Rp 5 billion.
