Zulkarnain said the recruitment of Election Volunteers was carried out in order to support the increasing task of the KPU in each election. This year, each mandatory selection will receive 5 ballots. "It must have a different level of difficulty than the previous election," he said.
Democratic Volunteers who are an extension of the KPU are tasked with carrying out political education in the community, such as increasing public participation in this year's Election. "We need a massive and measurable socialization, so that the KPU Majene recruits these Democratic Volunteers," he said.
In their duties, each volunteer has 11 bases that have been determined by KPU Majene. Starting from beginner voters, young voters, women voters, disabilities, family voters, Internet citizens (netizens), community voters, religious people, marginalized people, and voters with special needs.
The Democratic Volunteers who passed the selection will become KPU Majene's partners for 3 months until the next general election. But before that, the KPU Majene will first provide training as their provision in carrying out their duties.
