Polman, Sulbarkita.com -- As many as 3000 beneficiaries of the Family Hope Program (PKH) in Polman Regency cannot receive compensation from the government. This is because the Head of the Polman Empowerment and Handling Division of Social Assistance, the Social Service Agency (Dinsos), Syarifuddin Amin said the 3000 recipients were people with double data.

"For example, a husband can get his wife into PKH even though the rules are only husband or only wife. There are also recipients whose names are the same, only one letter is different, but the address is the same, "Syarifuddin said in a Hearing Meeting (RDP) Commission IV of the Polman DPRD and the Social Service, Central Statistics Agency (BPS), with a number of village and sub-district officials on Tuesday, 25 February 2020.

Syarifuddin said the aid for the 3000 PKH beneficiaries was finally being held up alias could not be distributed. The government has refused to provide assistance prior to data correction or validation. "Recipient data must be absolutely valid," he said.

According to Syarifuddin, the chaos of PKH beneficiary data was triggered by data verification that was not yet entirely carried out by village officials. Of the 144 villages in Polman, said Syarifuddin, only 15 had verified it. "We have sent operators to teach villages to verify which data of their citizens are eligible for assistance and which are not," he said. "We are waiting for the action by March," Syarifuddin added.

The Chairman of Commission IV of the Polman DPRD, Agus Pronoto actually criticized Polman Dinsos because it was considered to be less proactive in encouraging the improvement of beneficiary data. "The information we received changes in data for recipients of aid in Polman is still zero," he said. "We feel ashamed to be Polman people," Agus said.
