Mamuju, Sulbarkita.com -- Kelurahan in Mamuju Regency will receive additional fresh funds worth 380 million rupiah. The funds are obtained by the kelurahan as stated in the 2019 State Budget (APBN) which will be distributed throughout Indonesia.
The budget specifically disbursed by the Central Government is an effort to maximize regional infrastructure development and also community empowerment.
Mamuju Regency itself has 13 urban villages spread across three sub-districts, namely Mamuju, Kalukku and Tapalang Districts. The Regent of Mamuju, Habsi Wahid, at a limited meeting attended by all the lurah and Regional Secretary (Sekda) Mamuju and the Head of the Mamuju Administration advised that the additional budget be a motivation to be able to work to serve the community more leverage.

"With the support of this funding, we hope that all the lurah will work better, including in supporting the Mamuju Mapaccing movement," Habsi Wahid said during a meeting in his office on Tuesday, March 5, 2019.
Habsi said, the funds would be the answer to the hopes of the village heads who had been very eager to work optimally to provide the best service to the community, but were not optimal in accepting budget allocations due to limitations.
"So now it is the village lane responsibility. Whereas the main road is the duty of the Environmental and Hygiene Service (DLHK. To maximize waste transportation, it is good for each kelurahan to make a special schedule. So that no community complains that garbage is not transported," said Mamuju Regent.
"We recommend that once a week, the village head is obliged to hold a meeting with the community to discuss the Mamuju Mapaccing program and conduct environmental clean-up," he added.
Habsi also asked the village heads that in the realization of this Kelurahan Fund budgeting, each village head could add to the cleaning fleet mainly three-wheeled vehicles as a means of transporting garbage from house to house. So that there are no more underserved communities. On the basis of the current authority to handle cleanliness at the kelurahan level has been fully handed over to the village officials.
Simboro Urban Village Head Ilham said he was very grateful for the state budget funds that could be used to maximize services to the community. Moreover, the funds can be intervened to overcome waste and clean the environment that has been mandated to the kelurahan.
"We in the kelurahan are increasingly motivated and optimistic about the Kelurahan Fund, so that together with our community we can be more proactive in the effort to realize a clean Mamuju," he said.
