Majene, Sulbarkita.com - Majene Regency General Election Commission (KPU) asked the public to provide information, input, and responses to 284 Provisional Candidate List (DCS) of Majene DPRD Members who would fight in the 2019 Election.
Chairman of the Majene Regency KPU, Muh Arsalin Aras said that DCS members of the Majene DPRD had been announced through the mass media since August 12 this week. It is hoped that the public can access this information to ensure that they meet the requirements of the nomination in accordance with the General Election Law.
"That is, they are not registered as former corruption convicts, ex-drug convicts, or sexual crimes," Arsalin said.
Arsalin said the community could provide feedback and input regarding the bacaleg profile until 21 August. The method is easy, the people simply visit the election organizers offices such as Majene Election Commission. PPK in 8 sub-districts, as well as PPS in 82 villages and villages in Majene.
There, continued Arsalin, the KPU had provided officers who could immediately receive complaints from the public. The conditions of the complaint include attaching a problematic legal identity, evidence of being a convict of corruption, sexual crimes, or drugs.
Muhammad Subhan, a member of KPU Majene promised that the incoming complaints would be followed up through a process that had been determined in the stages of the General Election. For example, the clarification stage for bacaleg who are suspected of having problems on August 22-28.
KPU also promised to cross out Bacaleg's name which proved to be ineligible. "Community input will be very meaningful and God willing, we will follow up," he said.
