Majene, Sulbarkita.com -- The General Election Commission (KPU) of Majene Regency has appointed the Majene Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI) Branch as a management partner for the Majene Regency Regional Election (2020).
"After we made an assessment, we decided BRI as a KPU Partner in terms of saving the Pilkada 2020 funds," said Secretary of the KPU Majene, Iqbaluddin, Wednesday, December 11, 2019.
BRI was selected in the Beauty Contest held by KPU Majene in the KPU of the Majene KPU Office Hall on Tuesday, December 10 2019. The event aims to capture every Banking Company that will be used by KPU Majene to save funds for the upcoming 2020 elections. The selection was conducted to three banks in Majene, namely BPD, BNI and BRI.
KPU Commissioner Majene, Parmas Division, Zulkarnain Hasanuddin said, the selection was carried out according to the referral letter of the Indonesian KPU Number: 1452 / KU.07-Kpt / 08 / KPU / XI / 2019 concerning guidelines for managing bank rewards for storing the 2020 election grants.
"This technical guideline aims to create the management of election grants conducted by Regency / City KPU in accordance with the provisions of the legislation," Zulkarnain said when met in his office, Ahmad Yani Street, Passarang Environment, Totoli Village, Banggae District, Tuesday, 10 December 2019.
The scope of the Guidelines includes: 1. Appointment of a Bank holding a Grant fund; 2. Criteria for receiving rewards; 3. Recording of goods or money in return (reward) from the bank; and 4. The mechanism for ratifying rewards in the form of goods / services / securities.
"For example, a bank that can provide good service to the KPU when, for example, we cooperate with them, then the KPU receives a service fee," said Zulkarnain.
In addition, the bank must also be able to provide maximum services to the KPU in the form of financial transactions. "For example, we need to disburse urgent activity funds, whenever the bank has to be able to serve," said Zulkarnain.
The designated bank can provide service fees to the KPU. "For example, in the facilities and infrastructure of KPU activities in the upcoming 2020 elections," said Zulkarnain.
