That was in anticipation of the Government of Majene to deal with the increasingly widespread corona outbreak in the country.
Therefore, the community is expected to immediately report if they find symptoms of contracting the deadly disease through the nearest health facility such as a health center. At the same time check the person suspected of contracting covid-19.
"If you have experienced complaints such as fever, cough or runny nose for 14 consecutive days, you are expected to have a check up immediately," Rahmat said when contacted via telephone on Sunday, March 15, 2020.
On March 4, Regent Majene Fahmi Massiara issued a letter of appeal to the public so as not to panic in the face of the covid-19 virus outbreak. Residents are asked to recognize the symptoms of covid-19 and do prevention in simple ways such as washing hands and wearing masks.

"Our emergency response team has also conducted education about the virus in several schools since the past month," he said.
Rahmat added that his agency had also monitored and supervised every person who came from abroad. Includes a number of students who study in China and are already in Majene. "Parties from the Puskesmas have supervised these students," he said.
