Polman, Sulbarkita.com -- Head of Medicine and Health (Biddokkes), West Sulawesi Provincial Police, AKBP drg. Muhammad Zakir said that almost all levels of Polman Regional Police personnel had teeth that were not clean enough.
"About 10 percent is good. Actually the teeth are healthy, only because they are clean," he said while holding a Health Check (Rikkes) periodically for police personnel and the National Police ASN at the Polman Resort Police line up, at Bhayangkara clinic, Polman police station, Tuesday March 12 2019.
Therefore, Zakir advised the personnel who had problems in cleaning their teeth to routinely go to the Bhayangkara polyclinic. "There are already dental tools, they can be used in the polyclinic," he said.
Zakir also said he was very concerned about the dental hygiene of police personnel. He hopes that police personnel pay attention to dental hygiene. "I am a dentist, on average I see the side of dental hygiene that is less noticed. Then there is a hole that is still left and there is a tartar. Well, this tartar is a lot, maybe because of cigarettes, coffee and tea, "he said.
The Rikkes activity is a general physical examination, including dental, blood pressure, x-rays, cardiac treatmil with complete laboratory facilities. Which is where the Dokkes team works with heart specialists and pharmaceutical chemical companies.
"So, we expect the regular Rikkes function to be able to see sick members early. Then we do maintenance, if later there are found who are sick and indeed need further treatment, of course we will accompany the care, "he said.
The Dokkes team cooperates with pharmaceutical chemistry because the company has complete tools and materials. "We in West Sulawesi, including hospital medicine, are still collaborating with pharmaceutical chemistry in Makassar," said Zakir.
