Majene, Sulbarkita.com -- DPRD Chairperson Majene Salmawati Djamado apologized for the incident that occurred during a hearing about patients killed in the plenary room of the Majene Regency DPRD Office, Tuesday, January 28, 2020.
The politician from the United Development Party (PPP) apologized to all parties including his colleagues in the Majene Adi Ahsan DPRD and to the media crews who were on duty at the time. "We are also human beings, we can get out of control, so I say personally, as leaders and institutions, we apologize for the incident. I really have no intention of showing that between me and the deputy there is a partition," Salmawati said when met at her residence, Jalan Moh. H Mustafa, Battayang Environment, Banggae Village, Banggae District, after the meeting.
According to him, Adi Ahsan is a person who is often in direct contact with the community, on the basis of that he believes that his coworkers in the Majene legislature were so eager to resolve the issue. "I myself learned a lot with him, because it is undeniable that he has a lot of experience in the DPRD. I hope that after this incident there is wisdom that we can learn, which previously I was still lacking in knowledge had to learn a lot after this," he said in a wistful tone.
In the same place, DPRD Commission III Chairman Majene Muhammad Safaat expressed his appreciation for the deputy chairman's steps in facilitating the problem of the dead patient. "I think it was just Miss Communication and the DPRD leader at the end of the meeting also gave an apology to all the attendees, the public and especially the media present," said the young politician beside Salmawati.
He made sure in the near future his party would hold a meeting to rectify the problem. He also said that he would hold a follow-up meeting to follow up on the matter of the Almaidah patient. "That is to decide whether to take information from related parties to be further informed to the media," he said.
The discussion meeting of the patient who died because he was allegedly late to be handled by the Majene Regional Hospital had caused a stir. DPRD Speaker Majene Salmawati refused to have the meeting covered by the mass media which was then interrupted by other board members.
As a result, a number of other legislators spoke out in response to Salmawati's statement which forbade media crews from covering the meeting. An argument ensued, the meeting that had been running a lot started to be chaotic, because the Majene DPRD Deputy Speaker Adi Ahsan changed the table in the forum.
These conditions made security forces enter the room to control the situation. Salmawati walked out because she could no longer control the meeting. His desire to suspend the meeting was also ignored by members of the DPRD Majene.
The meeting was also attended by Majene Regional Hospital, Health Office, BPJS and Head of Puskesmas in Majene.
